The Swagabonds

Frequently Asked Questions

Swag + Vagabonds= Swagabonds
A swagabond is someone who has an effortless sense of style, despite his living situation.

Skid Row is an area of Downtown Los Angeles's known to be the 'homeless capital of the United States'. But what most people don't know, is that this hotbed for drug trafficking, prostitution and mental illness is the home of amazing artists.

The Swagabonds is the first fashion brand designed in collaboration with Artists from Skid Row.
Our ambition: to have you discover awesome talents, while helping them rise above their circumstances.
Our motto: to empower individuals through art and fashion.

Gigi (hello, that’s me!), founder of The Swagabonds, has been involved in the Skid Row community for few years now. That’s how she gets the chance to meet talented artists. She thought it would be cool to promote them.

1. We select an artist within the Skid Row community and an artwork that we like.
2. We adapt the artwork on a piece of clothing, so you like it too.
3. The artist signs the piece and we sell it online.
4. You buy the piece and the artist receives 20% of the selling price.
5 .We invest in the next capsule collection to promote other great artists.

When you buy our clothes, the artists receive 20% of the selling price. The rest is entirely reinvested to discover and promote other great artists.

Well technically, yes, but actually, no. Launching a brand costs lots of money. On top of the production costs, we have to pay creditors, accountants, taxes, rent, Internet, graphic designers, rolls of film, people, us, hopefully! Not to mention that we need cash flow to invest in other great artists.

Both. Our clothes are Unisex.

Our clothes are unisex and size a bit larger than usual, for an oversized look. Be sure to look at the size guide before making your choice.

Yes! But the shipping costs are higher (for you) and it might take longer to receive your package than if you were located in the US. All that being said, it’s totally worth it and we’ll make sure your package arrives at your door. ☺

After logging into your account, the status of your checkout history can be found under Order History. A tracking number will be sent to you by email.

Let’s say you’ve ordered a t shirt size S and you realized you should have ordered a M, send us a message in the Contact section, as long as we haven’t ship your item yet, we’ll help you out.

It depends on where you are located in the world! If you are in the US, you should expect your package within 5 to 10 working days.
